Brian M. Montour passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 26, 2025, at the age of 37.  He was a resident of Minneapolis.  Brian was born on February 6,1988, to his loving parents Julie and Mike Montour.  Brian graduated from Centennial High School in 2006 and then completed a BA Degree from McNally Smith College of Music in 2010. He worked in the retail industry in customer service roles and was also a part-time wedding DJ for many years.  

Brian loved getting together with family and friends.  He had a great smile and a fun sense of humor.  Music was his passion, especially drumming.  He was on the drumline in high school and continued to drum throughout his life.  He also enjoyed watching and talking football. Brian loved the outdoors which included swimming, boating and fishing at his family's cabin.  

He was preceded in death by his grandparents (Bernard Balder, and Romana & Ken Montour).  Survived by his parents as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.  

Brian's Life Celebration service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at St Genevieve's Catholic Church (Parish Community Center) located at 6995 Centerville Road, Centerville, MN 55038. Come join the family in a remembrance gathering at 10 am, followed by a funeral mass at 11 am with a luncheon following at 12 noon.
