Carrie Jaye Carlson passed away suddenly on December 25, 2025. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Carrie was the beloved wife of Steve Carlson for 42 years and a devoted mother to her children, Meghan (Jessica) Carlson and Ben (Jenjira) Carlson and sister Wendy (Chris) Flanigan. Predeceased by her parents Darlene and Patrick Flanigan. Nothing brought her greater joy than her family, especially her cherished granddaughters, Quinn and Sloane, who were the light of her life.

Carrie was known for her caring heart, strength, and unwavering love for those closest to her. In her retirement from her nursing career, she embraced the freedom of travel, spending many happy days exploring new places in her Airstream camper—creating memories she treasured deeply. She had a way of making others feel welcomed and valued, and her presence and laughter brought comfort and warmth to every gathering.

She leaves behind a family who will continue to honor her life, carry forward her values, and hold her close in their hearts.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 31st, 2026 at the Cremation Society of Edina, 7110 France Ave S, Edina, MN 55435
