Anthony Dease "Tony" Driskill Obituary

Anthony Driskill, beloved father, son, brother, friend, die hard Vikings fan, and best cook on the planet, passed away unexpectedly on November 18, 2025, at the age of 43 in his home. Born on June 22, 1982, Tony lived loudly, laughed often, and always went the extra mile.

A devoted Minnesota Vikings fan, Tony treated every game like it was the Super Bowl. There was yelling, pacing, commentary nobody asked for, and celebrations that neighbors probably heard through the walls. He also loved the Minnesota State Fair with a passion. Deep fried food, people watching, and walking until his feet hurt, if it involved the Fair, Tony was there.

Family meant everything to Tony. They weren’t just important, they were his entire world, his favorite hobby, and honestly his best excuse to arrange a gathering. He loved bragging about them any chance he got, whether you asked or not. And nobody put together a family get together like Tony. If there was a holiday, a birthday, or even a Tuesday, he’d have enough food to feed a small army. His legendary cheese balls? Those things could’ve solved world peace if he made enough of them.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, Ronald “Dease” Driskill Jr; his aunt, Eileen Fish; his grandparents, Ronald Dease Driskill Sr, Betty Driskill, Geraldine Fish and Curtis Fish; and his beloved dog, Lexi A.K.A. Big Girl, who we all know was wagging her tail on the other side in anticipation for him.

He is survived by his son, Tyler Driskill, his greatest pride and favorite person to brag about; his mother, Rita (Fish) Driskill; his brothers, Nicholas Driskill and Joseph Schafer; his nephews, Camden Driskill and Mason Driskill; His Best Friend, Amber Wilson; and other Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and many other friends that were dear to him; not to forget his ludicrous cat, Lucy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 24, 2026, at Outtakes Bar & Grill in New Hope, MN, from 3:00 PM until close (1:00 AM). Friends and family are invited to come share stories, raise a glass, laugh obnoxiously, and have a great time.  Tony made it very clear, he would want people enjoying the time they had with him, not sitting around being sad. This day is about remembering the good times, not the loss.

Tony’s warmth, sarcasm, loyalty, and giant heart will be deeply missed, but his stories, his humor, and his unforgettable presence will live on forever.

Loved deeply. Missed endlessly. Remembered always.
