With broken hearts and immeasurable love, we share that our beautiful Mom, Nana, and Devoted Wife, passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2025, exactly as she always wished. She left this world with her loyal companion Maggie by her side and went straight into the arms of her husband, Jeff, the love of her life, whom she had missed immensely since his passing.
Born on January 8, 1959 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Mom lived her life with strength, gratitude, humor, and a heart overflowing with love. She faced more battles than anyone should ever have to endure — including cancer and other health struggles — yet she met each one with unwavering grit and a simple, steady reassurance: “I’m fine” and “I think I’m doing pretty good.” Even when her body grew tired, her spirit never wavered.
Mom was known for her kindness, her positivity, her sometimes brutal honesty, and gift for making something beautiful out of every hardship. She loved deeply, laughed often, and found joy in even the smallest moments. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and her bond with her kids and grandkids was one of her greatest treasures. She gave us giggle fits, goofy nicknames, warm hugs, endless support, and a sense of comfort that can never be replaced.
She and Jeff shared a love story that spanned decades — a connection so strong that losing him broke a huge piece of her heart that never fully healed. We take comfort in knowing they are finally reunited, with Dad’s big grin and open arms waiting to welcome her home.
Mom was our constant — the phone call we could always make, the voice we always needed to hear, the presence we thought we’d never have to live without. Her loss leaves a void that words can’t touch. We already miss the kids shouting, “Nana!” We miss her sneaking them treats, her stories, her spunk, and the comfort of knowing she was just a call away.
We would give anything for one more hug, one more laugh, one more moment. But we rest in the peace of knowing she left gently, on her terms, and that she is finally where she longed to be — back with Dad.
Mom thought we were helping her through her hardest days, but the truth is… we needed her more than she ever needed us. We will carry her heart, her strength, her humor, and her love forward with us every single day.
She is survived by her loving children, Randi (Matt) and Moose (Lindsay), and her 5 cherished grandchildren, Gavin, Ellie, Kali, Evelyn, and Lily who adored her beyond measure and will miss her deeply, along with her extended family, EJ’s family and the Coon Lake Beach Community. She is also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Mary and Steve.
We ask you to honor her memory by hugging your loved ones a little tighter, telling the people in your life you love them, and calling your mom while you still can — because we wish more than anything that we could call ours.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, beginning at 2pm at the Coon Lake Community Center, 182 Forest Rd, Wyoming, MN 55092.
Love you, Mom. We’ll miss you forever.
