Jean Ann Craft, age 60, of New Prague, Minnesota, passed away suddenly at home on November 26, 2025. Born on March 26, 1965, Jean grew up in Bloomington, MN, the third child of Lori and Elaine Krantz. She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Julia Schnacky and Lee Krantz. 

Jean is survived by her husband and partner in all things wonderfully chaotic, Johnny Lynn Craft; her three fiercely loved daughters—whom she proudly raised to be just as wild and spirited as she was—Ariel Craft (Robert Fealy-Layer), Allison Craft (Zach Grewe), and Alyssa Craft; and by her cherished grandchildren: Tucker, Carl, Harmony, Ruby, Winifred, Noah, and Willamina. She also leaves behind many extended family members. 

Jean lived with her whole heart—deeply attuned to the feelings of others and generous beyond measure. Her love was big, bold, and always hilarious. She had a sharp wit, a wonderfully silly streak, and a talent for bringing laughter into even the hardest moments. 

She was the world’s most reliable texter, an emoji connoisseur, and the reigning queen of perfectly blurry family photos. Her memory was legendary, and her routines were a comfort to everyone who knew her. She delighted in the simple joys: her lilacs blooming in spring, carefully handmade Valentines, the “Full Meal Deal” at Holidays.  

Jean expressed her love through acts of care—baking, cooking, gardening. She was a constant, loving presence in her daughters’ and grandchildren’s lives, checking in often, encouraging always, loving endlessly. 

She was also proud to have served in the United States Army, where she met Johnny, the love of her life. 

A private celebration of life will be held to honor and remember the extraordinary warmth, humor, and devotion Jean brought into the world. 

Her heart, her laughter, and her love will be deeply missed—and felt forever.
