June Ann (Schrotberger) Wiberg, 68, of Brooklyn Park, passed away on November 25, 2025, after a valiant battle with brain cancer (glioblastoma).

June was born on December 8, 1956, to Harold A. and Lois E. (Petersen) Schrotberger, the youngest of six children. Her early years were spent in southern Minnesota. In 1965 they moved to Litchfield where she graduated from high school in 1975. She went on to earn additional higher education degrees. In 1997 she married Timothy Wiberg of Brooklyn Park, Mn. They proudly built their house together near Edinburgh Golf Course.

Always a hard and dedicated worker, she had a variety of jobs throughout her life, including working at Hutchinson Technology when she met Tim. Her most recent work was as a Senior Technical Support Analyst in the IT Department at Medtronic for several years.

June’s passion was working out. She especially enjoyed competitive events and races such as the Spartan. Her physical fitness and stamina were an inspiration to others, including those much younger. She loved her kitties (Abbey and Ernie) and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed long bike rides, traveling and going to concerts. She enthusiastically tended her butterfly garden and took joy in seeing it grow and the butterflies  flourish from caterpillars to full grown flyers.  Time spent at their Florida and Minnesota timeshares was special. She was a big baseball fan who loved to watch the games. She and Tim visited half of the thirty MLB stadiums! Her greatest joy was following the Major League career of her great nephew, Myles Straw, and she was so happy for all the chances she had to see him play in person.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Tim; sister, Patricia Dicken, Franklin, IN; brothers Michael Schrotberger, Cokato, MN and Gary Schrotberger (Sue), Litchfield, MN; sister-in-law, Marcia Retzer (Ken), Fargo, ND; many dear nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and good friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Hentges; brother, David Schrotberger; sister in-law, Karen Schrotberger; brother in-law, Donald Dicken; and nephew, Donny Dicken.  Per her wishes, private family services.

Interment: Garden of Remembrance, Lakewood Cemetery (Minneapolis, MN)
