Wanda Mae (Rothi) Simengaard
On November 20, 2025, at the age of 85, Wanda went home to be with Jesus and reunited with Arne, her husband of 50 years. Dedicated to her family and devoted woman of Christ. She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Ken) Trecartin, grandsons Josh (Anisha) and Justin, and great granddaughter Aniston.
Wanda loved and raised Arne’s daughters as her own and is survived by Virginia Lynn, Rebecca (Les) Johnson, Dawn (Mark) Jaworski, Ann (Gary) Keeler; grandchildren Jill (Myron) Engle, Matthew Liebig, Sonia (Will) Keillor, Stephanie Johnson, Andrea Liebig, Stephen Keeler, Ryan (Emily) Kjesbo-Johnson, Bryan (Pauline) Keeler, and Erik Keeler, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; sisters Twylla (Tom) Rausch and Joann (Norm) Campbell; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Arne, and her parents Marvin and Lila.
Memorial service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 11 am with visitation one hour prior and luncheon after the service at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1901 Portland Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55404.
