Constance (Connie) Laurene Herbst age 75, of Shoreview, MN, passed away on November 20th, 2025, with her loving husband of 53 years by her side. 

Connie was born on October 23rd, 1950, in Madison, WI to Albert and Genevieve Cummer. She lived a life full of love and laughter, and had a positive outlook on life, searching for the silver lining in every situation. Connie was a compassionate person who always looked for the good in others and touched the lives of everyone she met. 

She cherished time with family, friends, and adored her four grandkids. She especially liked playing games, baking, and doing crafts with them. Connie loved traveling adventures with her husband. She also loved spending time outdoors, whether it was scuba diving, walking on the beach, at home in her flower garden, or just sitting on the deck soaking in the sun and watching the birds. Connie brought joy and laughter wherever she went. 

Connie is survived by spouse, Bruce; three children, Matthew (Laurie), Nicholas, and Kimberly (Eric); brother Jeffrey (Virginia); and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by father, Albert; mother, Genevieve; and sister, Carol. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. 

A celebration of Connie’s life will be held on January 10, 2026 at Community of Grace Lutheran Church, 4000 Linden St, White Bear Lake, MN 55110. 1:00pm Visitation. 2:00pm Service followed by a reception. Flowers accepted at the church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.
