Margaret Ann "Marge" Kladis (Athan)
Margaret Ann Kladis of Mendota Heights Minnesota; passed in her home surrounded by family, after a long battle with dementia, on November 17th, 2025 at the age of 76.
Marge was born on December 8th, 1948. She was married on July 2nd, 1967 to her lifelong companion Harry Kladis. They spent their lives side by side with a love that was pure and true. Together they owned and built a business, their commitment to each other and their hard work, allowed her to retire at an early age.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, known for her generous heart and gentle kindness. She brought a warmth and comfort to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Marge is survived by; her husband Harry Kladis, their daughters Athena Shultz (Jerry) and Dawn Kofoed, and her granddaughters Jayden and Siah. She will be missed by her sisters Ivy Cavegn (Vince), and Franny Roberts, and her nieces and nephews; Annette, Marty, Tony, Rachael, John, Sue, and Shar. She is proceeded in death by her parents Larry and Viola Athan, and her sister Dorothy Athan.
She will continue to live on through her loving husband, her cherished daughters, and her adored granddaughters, sisters and friends. Each of whom she loved with all of her heart.
Marge found joy in life’s simplest and most meaningful moments. Her bright, contagious laughter could fill any room and soothe even the heaviest of hearts. Music, singing, and dancing were woven into her daily life. Whether she was preparing dinner, or sharing playful moments with her daughters and granddaughters. Marge was a gifted cook. She poured love into every meal she made, creating dishes that brought comfort, warmth, and a feeling of home.
Caring for others was at the core of who Marge was. Her compassion seemed endless, her hands always ready to help, and her heart remained open to all who needed her. Her life was defined by love, selflessness, and the joy she found in nurturing those around her. Above all, Marge treasured her family. She was a devoted partner, a loving mother, and proud joy-filled grandmother. Her greatest happiness came from watching her family grow, laugh, and thrive. Her tenderness, warmth, and unwavering love will continue to guide those she touched each and every day. Her family remains grateful for the beautiful light she brought into their lives and the abundance of love she shared to all.
Marge will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her spirit will live on in every shared laugh, every song, every gathered meal, and every moment of kindness inspired by her example. Her life was a precious gift to all that knew her.
May her memory be a blessing, and may her love continue to shine through all of us.
