Dianne Leonora (Brown) Reiter was born on July 5th, 1943, in Springfield, MN, to Raymond and Ardeen Brown. Dianne was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many. Growing up on a farm in Sanborn, MN, she was surrounded by her large family, which included 11 brothers, 2 sisters, and 4 stepbrothers.

Dianne graduated from Jeffers High School in 1961 and later obtained her circuit board certification from Gale Institute. Her journey in life took a beautiful turn when she met her future husband, John, while racing cars on Lake Street in Minneapolis.

Their love story blossomed, and they married on February 19th, 1966. Together, they had 6 children and they raised them in Mound and Brooklyn Park, MN.

Family was at the heart of everything Dianne did. She cherished the moments spent together, whether it was going to church, camping, or playing card games. She had a love for gardening, picking endless dandelions, canning, and baking cookies to go with her pot of coffee. One of her favorite pastimes was spending time at the family farm, where she built special relationships with all her extended family.

Dianne's warm and generous spirit extended beyond her family. She had many close friends with whom she loved to share her famous chocolate chip cookies and spend quality time. Her kindness and love left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Dianne is survived by her beloved children John (Elizabeth), Troy (Marie), Tammy Boyd (Chad Johnson) and Ken (Kelli). She was a proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren: Jordan Elwell (Thomas), Rebecca DeZeeuw (Adam), Mitchell, Jacob Boyd, Johnny III, Adam, Abigail, Connor, Julia, Sam, and Madalyn. She is also survived by nine siblings: Larry, Cheryl Luttmer (Mike), Edward (Jonlee), Beverly Nelson (Jeff), Michael (Tina), Marlon, Tim, Tom, and Terry. Additionally, Dianne was blessed with the support and love of her sisters-in-law, Rita and Susan.

Sadly, Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ardeen, her stepfather Melvin Clark, her husband John Sr., her children Kimberly and Gregory, and her brothers Raymond, Dale, Donald, and Ronald.

The service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday December 6th, 2025 at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, located at 9200 Elm Creek Blvd, Maple Grove. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. The interment will take place at a later date at the Sanborn Cemetery in Sanborn, MN.
