Tabitha Laine Johnson 

On November 3, 2025, a bright light forever dimmed with the passing of Tabitha Johnson. "Tab" to all who knew and loved her, was born Aug. 14, 1986, a joy to her parents and large extended family. With a bright smile and mischievous gleam in her eye, Tab's razor-sharp, dry wit and keen world observations never failed to elicit laughter or provoke thought and discussion. She graduated from Wayzata High School and went on to study cosmetology, becoming an artist in hair design and styling. Tabitha's deep caring and compassionate nature shone through in all she touched.

At the age of 7, Tab was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, a condition she struggled with for the rest of her life, and complications of which ultimately claimed her life.  

Tabitha leaves behind her cherished son, Bruce (age 9), whom she loved beyond measure. She will be deeply missed and mourned by her parents, Dan and Cheryl Johnson, siblings Nathan (Jenna) and Danny (Katie), many nieces, nephews, cousins ("Just Cuz"), and loving extended family.  

In response to many caring and heartfelt requests, an education fund has been established for Bruce at US Bank (3305 Plymouth Blvd, Plymouth, MN 55447, (952) 999-1312. Donations can also be sent to the following address: PO Box 155, Hamel MN 55340. Additionally, there is a Venmo account linked for Bruce’s Education fund: @Bruce_Education_Fund with the last four digits - 9561 to submit. In lieu of flowers, donations will contribute to providing educational opportunities Tabitha wished for her son. Your generosity, whether through a donation or simply sharing this message, is deeply appreciated and will stand as a testament to the love she gave so freely. 

We will gather to celebrate our beloved Tabitha at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025 at Woodridge Church (1500 County Road 24, Medina, MN)  with a visitation one hour prior to service.
