Sharon Signa Neubrand (Wing) Obituary

Sharon Signa Neubrand

(née Wing)

Sharon Signa Neubrand, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025 in Lake Elmo, Minnesota, at the age of 83.

Born on June 19, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Rueben and Doloris (Chalstrom) Wing. Sharon moved with her family to Cambridge, Minnesota, in 1949. She graduated from Cambridge High School and later began a successful career at Honeywell, where she served as a lead bookkeeper.

It was while spending time at Spectacle Lake that Sharon met the love of her life, Paul Neubrand. The couple married in 1965 and built a joyful home in the Twin Cities, raising four children: Kristy (JR Campuzano), Keely (Mike Holmes), Kathy (John Anderson), and Jason (Lindy). Sharon poured her heart into her family and community. A devoted member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, she sang in the choir and served on the church council. She was an enthusiastic volunteer for Camp Fire Girls and a gifted seamstress who founded ShaNeuby Creations, selling her handcrafted sweatshirts at craft shows. She also co-owned and managed Twin Cities Embroidery.

In 2001, Sharon and Paul moved  to Hudson, Wisconsin, where Sharon designed a warm and welcoming home that became the heart of countless family gatherings. She cherished traditions like baking cookies and hardtack, canning pickles, and preparing her famous baked beans. An avid game player, she delighted in challenging her children and grandchildren to rounds of cribbage, estimate, nickel, and “oh sh#t.” Her crafting talents extended to creating pot holders and crocheted washcloths, gifts she lovingly shared with family and friends.

In 2016, Sharon and Paul moved to Lake Elmo, Minnesota. There, she became an active member of Woodbury Lutheran Church, volunteering her sewing skills to make mittens that raised funds for the Robins Nest Children’s Home in Jamaica. She was also a member of the YMCA and in her later years, she looked forward to her therapeutic pool sessions at St. Croix Therapy in Hudson, Wisconsin.

God and family were the center of Sharon’s life. She was the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren: Nicholas, John, Claire, Alexander, and Keely Campuzano; Edward (Summer), Abby, Daniel, and Alaina Holmes; Olivia and Thomas Anderson; and Ryder and Kayla Neubrand. She is survived by her brothers, George and Kenny Wing.

Sharon’s legacy of love, creativity, and generosity will live on in the countless hearts she touched and the lives she helped shape.
