Dennis H Matthias, age 83, of Woodbury, Minnesota, passed away on November 9, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Timothy, and his sister, Angela Ervin. 

Survived by his wife, Patricia (Walsh) Matthias; his children, Therese (Karl) Scherbel, and Mark; his grandchildren, Aura and Jocelyn Scherbel; and many nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law. 

Dennis was born January 17, 1942, in Waterloo, Iowa, and studied chemistry at the University of Iowa and the University of Minnesota. He worked for 3M and Imation for many years. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and the great outdoors. He also enjoyed going out with many friends. 

Private service for family will be held at a later date.
