Doris passed away on November 6, 2025, at the spirited age of nearly 93, after giving breast cancer her best kick.  Music was her joyful companion.  Music gave her purpose.  She sang with a community of treasured voices at the Minnetonka Choral Society and the Congregational Church of Excelsior.  She also found fellowship in her kind Lake Minnewashta neighbors as she walked and talked in the "hood".  Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Charles.  She is survived by her children, Kathy, John (Jodi) and Tom (Patty); four grandchildren; and five bragging-rights-worthy great-grandchildren.  Our hearts find song in the love Mom received from her dear friends, doctors and staff, pharmacists and home health/hospice caregivers.  Mom: May you forever sing with the morning stars in heavenly bliss!  A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Congregational Church of Excelsior, 471 3rd Street, Excelsior, MN 55331.  Reception/visitation to follow at the church.
