Shirley Ann Foster, age 85 of Eagan, MN passed away peacefully on November 4th, 2025. Shirley was born on November 19th, 1939, in Minneapolis, MN to Orin and Mary Shanahan. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1957 and married her high school sweetheart Don Foster on June 6th, 1959. They raised 2 wonderful sons together, Kevin (1960) and Dale (1963). She was a Navy wife and a homemaker, raising her family all over the US and England.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, sister Mary Lust, her loving husband Don Foster, and her son Kevin Foster. She is survived by her son Dale Foster, her 5 grandchildren, and extended family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on November 14th at 2 pm at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. S, Edina, MN. Internment at Fort Snelling is to follow at a later date.

Memorials to the family will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in honor of Shirley.
