Susan was born May 2nd, 1947 in Willmar, Minnesota to Raymond and Bernadine Hanson. She graduated from Hector Highschool in 1965. She went on to nursing school and became an LPN, upon graduation she and some classmates traveled to Ireland where she kissed the Blarney Stone. She retired from the Minnesota Veterans Home. Susan married the love of her life John Bruns and enjoyed their trips to Cancun. Susan cherished her family and her Dogs. 

Survived by her loving family including son Eric Bruns (Lisa) of Chaska MN, Sisters Patti Ryback of Lake Havasu City AZ , and Margaret Olson of Dawson MN. She was a proud Grandmother to Nicole Bruns, and a cherished great grandmother. Susan also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and her sister Valerie Peterson.

Celebration of Life 

Sunday November 23rd, 1-4 PM  at the Chaska V.F.W. 

Susan will be buried at Fort Snelling next to her husband.
