Zbikowski, Marion (Sauder) 

Age 96, of Rogers, MN, passed away and journeyed to heaven to join her husband Theodore (Ted) Zbikowski on October 14, 2025.  Born September 18, 1929, in Hazel, South Dakota, she was the loving daughter of Dan and Olive Sauder. 

Marion grew up on the family farm in Bryant, SD. Following high school graduation, she moved to Minneapolis, MN and worked as a secretary/executive assistant for General Electric and Munsingware. Marion was introduced to Ted Zbikowski by the owner of a local grocery store where they both shopped. They married on October 1, 1950. 

Marion was a loving and dedicated spouse, mother, and grandmother. She loved traveling and seeing the great outdoors. First, camping with family and friends, then traveling throughout the United States with her husband Ted in their motorhome, visiting all states except Hawaii. Marion’s family, friends, and relatives spent many days at their home on Maple Lake enjoying water activities, fishing, and snowmobiling. She was an avid card player up to her passing. Marion was a compassionate person, spending many hours assisting several handicapped women at a care center in Golden Valley, MN, and later caring for her husband of 57 years, Ted, who was disabled for the last 30 years of his life. 

Preceded in death by father Dan Sauder, mother Olive (Seipp) Sauder, husband Ted Zbikowski, brother Harold Sauder. 

Survived by sons Tim (Carol Klitzke), Scott (Elizabeth), Rick (Kathy), grandchildren Andy (Amy), Adam (Katie), Jenny Kleppe (Ben), John (Vicki), seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of life will be held 11:00 am to 3:00 pm Sunday, December 28th, at the Daytona Golf Club, 14730 Lawndale Lane N, Dayton, MN.  A short service will be followed by a luncheon and social gathering.  Donations in Marion’s memory may be mailed to Bethlehem United Church of Christ, 400 County Road 37, Maple Lake, MN 55358, or Minnesota Conservation
