Haven is dancing on streets of gold! We expect Heaven to be a pretty ruckus place for a while with Haven hugging everyone he sees, engaging in water-balloon and squirt-gun battles, climbing trees, and singing as loudly as possible in the angelic choruses, while riding his bicycle all over up there. Expect a few more thunderstorms as he takes up bowling with Jesus.
Haven Wayne Boysen, born the eldest son to Haven & Nellie (Loverink) Boysen of Austin on April 27th of 1952, passed from the loving hands of his children into the arms of our Savior the evening of Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Haven had been hospitalized from a swift battle with illness when the Lord brought him home to glory.
Haven grew up in Austin, Minnesota, surrounded by adventurous siblings and cousins. While at Austin Products, he met and married Linda Day. Haven worked hard as a maintenance man for Brockway Glass in Rosemount, then moved to the Cannon Falls / Randolph area, working for Sheldahl in Northfield, retiring in 2020.
Haven and Linda, married from 1974 until her passing in 1995, had three children: Petranella (Nellie), Haven Mark, and Tami. Haven then married Robbie Miles (2002-2023) with step-children: Shane, Jeff, and Jay.
Haven, always ready with a helping hand, tools, and the know-how to fix just about anything, will be missed by many. He was active in local churches, Bible study groups, bowling leagues, and with his family. Haven accepted Jesus as his Savior at a young age and spent his life sharing the Gospel in down-to-earth conversations, Bible studies, and local congregations. He spoke often of his excitement for studying God’s Word with his out-of-state grandchildren over video calls.
While preceded in death by his parents and wife Linda, Haven leaves behind a wonderful blessing of siblings, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A celebration of life everlasting will be at Christ United Methodist Church of Randolph, on Saturday, November 1, 2025, with visitation starting at 11:00 am, a funeral service at 12 noon, followed by a fellowship luncheon.
