Joan Marie Blashack, age 78, of Brooklyn Park passed away on October 20th, 2025.  She attended Robbinsdale High School.  She was married to her husband, Rick Blashack, for 29 years.  Joan was an active volunteer at St. Gerard Church.  She loved riding on the back of the motorcycle, traveling across the country.  Gardening was another of her greatest joys where she found peace and happiness.

Joan is preceded in death by parents, Robert and Josephine Bauernfeind.  She is survived by her husband, Rick Blashack; children Jeremy (Melissa) Bauernfeind, Kelly (Nate) Suckerman, Kathy Davidson; grandchildren, Jackson, Colton, Malaki, Cory, Selena, Timothy, Kimberly, Steven; siblings, Judy (Rick) Haworth, Louis Heil and many other extended family members and friends.  The funeral service will be on Thursday, 11/20/2025 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 9600 Regent Avenue, Brooklyn Park, MN 55443.  Visitation 10-11am, Mass 11am with lunch to follow.
