ERICKSON, Troy David, age 55, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully at home on October 13, 2025.  He is preceded in death by his father, Steve Erickson.  He will be deeply missed by his mother, Susan Kay Erickson (Melbostad); sister, Stephanie Susan Erickson (Carsten Franke); son, Zach Nielsen (Katie Huber); nephews, Logan and Gavin Hyrkas; many relatives and good friends.  

He spent his childhood in St. Louis, Missouri and came into his own when the family moved to Eden Prairie.  He lived in Southwest Mpls, spent 5 years in the Catalina Islands, California, 5 years in Kansas, as he developed his professional skills as a Chef, while making friends wherever he went.  He was an avid golfer, and a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins.   He had a favorite stable of cats in his life, Mumford, Penny "Bubble-butt", and Sushi "Baby-girl".
