BENJAMIN, Sandra O., age 85, of Coon Rapids, passed away on October 8, 2025. Retired longtime GSA Federal employee- Chicago.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Lenora Carter; brothers, Kenneth Carter, Earl and Carl Abrams; sisters, Irene Henry.  She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Latitia Benjamin, Lynette Smith (Michael); grandchildren, Courtney Benjamin-Newton (Timothy), Christopher Benjamin (Sherry Bristow), Shannice Wilson, Octavia Smith; great grandchildren, Ta'aliyah Newton, Tahiry Newton, Amonte' Smith; siblings, Arlene Corker, Cynthia Smith (Jimmie), Douglas Carter, Jr. (Laurel); many relatives and good friends.  Memorial Gathering 1-4pm Sunday, October 19th at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Boulevard, Brooklyn Park (763-560-3100)
