It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Ed O’Gara Jr on Sept 28th, 2025. He had a 5-year struggle with dementia. Ed maintained his sense of humor, kindness, grace and compassion throughout his struggle. The love of family and friends and his love of nature kept him going. He loved hunting, fishing, trips to the north shore and music.
He is survived by his wife Laurie; children Bridget, Billy (Nikki) and John; Siblings, Mike (Diane), Maureen (Mark), Kevin (Connie), Maggie (Tim) and Tim (Jodi); grandchildren Theo, Jake, Zach, Collin, Chloe, Bryn, Emmet and Liam. He is predeceased by parents, Ed O’Gara Sr and Marie Healy; son, Ed O’Gara III and brother, Pat.
A Celebration of Life will take place on November 20, 2025 at 5 PM, with a visitation 1 hour prior at The Cremation Society of Minnesota in Edina, 7110 France Avenue S Edina, MN 55435.
