Mary Patricia Cross passed away on September 19, 2025, in Woodbury, Minnesota at the age of 89. Born 8/11/1936 in Flint, Michigan, she was the loving daughter of Thelma (Mason) Dewey and Gordon Kingsley Dewey.

Mary received a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and a Master’s degree from the University of Dayton. She taught 5th grade and was a certified special education teacher and worked as an administrative assistant for Western Illinois University, the University of Michigan, and NCR corporation.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 53 years Lee Cross, daughter Rebecca Ketchum of Houston, Texas, and her three sisters, Aletha Kretchmer, Jean Gillmore and Ardis Howey, all of Michigan. Surviving her are son Timothy Cross and daughter-in-law Terry Mann of West Manchester, Ohio; daughter Elisa Cross and son-in-law Steve Addington of Woodbury, Minnesota; son-in-law Mitchel Ketchum of Houston; and grandchildren Scott Addington of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, Sean Addington of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Kelly Ketchum of El Paso, Texas.

Mary retired from NCR and had a life full of hobbies. She enjoyed traveling, dancing and visiting her grandchildren.
