Rachael Marie Morey

Passed away September 24th in a car accident in Mille Lacs County at the age of 53. A resident of Stacy MN.

She was the loving daughter of Ronald and Crescence Scharmer of Rush City.

For I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me. Mathew 25:35-36

These words of Christ, are the summation of Rachael’s life. She sought out the outcast to show them love and kindness. Those that society shunned she embraced. She had a kind and gentle soul that was obvious to all that met her. Everyone that knew her loved her. The world is a better place because of her and with her departure the light of this world shines a little less bright.

She is survived by her husband Travis Nienow, Her parents Ronald Scharmer Sr. and Crescence Scharmer. Her brother Ronald Scharmer Jr, his wife Kimmy Scharmer and their children Joe Leurer, Olivia Leurer, and Brandon Scharmer, along with his wife Becca Scharmer and their Daughter Brittley Scharmer. Her daughters Danielle Morey, Alysha DeJean and her husband Chantz DeJean, Marissa Morey, Mariah Tuller and her husband Chris Tuller, Shania Thurnbeck and her husband Alex Thurnbeck. She leaves behind her grandchildren Dane Tuller, Grayson Tuller, Ava Tuller, and Sutton Thurnbeck.
