Gerald Eugene Pierson 

Age 74 of Spring Lake Park unexpectedly passed away on September 15th, 2025 at Cambridge Hospital, with his wife, Nancy, by his side. Gerald was born on March 10, 1951 in St.Paul to Patricia Greenwood Nielsen and Eugene Wesley Pierson but grew up in Jordan Minnesota. Gerald was the oldest of 4 siblings… 2 sisters and a brother. Gerald earned his GED through the military where he served in the United States Army from 1969-1971 in Fairbanks, Alaska where he was stationed and lived with his wife and daughter. Jerry and Nancy raised their family in East Bethel and lived there for 45 years before moving to an apartment in Spring Lake Park where there was less outside maintenance. Jerry enjoyed deer hunting, some bird hunting, camping, and spending time with his family, friends and his dog Windsor. Jerry retired from Target Corporation after working for them for 42 years. 

Gerald is preceded in death by his father Eugene, mother Patricia and Stepfather Raymond Weckman; sisters Sandy Lueth and Debra Norman.

He is survived by his wife Nancy, daughter Amy(Todd), son Jake, granddaughter Courtney, grandson Corey(Teigan), 9 great grandchildren, brother Jim, many other family members and friends. 

Celebration of Life will be held on Friday October 17th, 2025

from 3-5 PM with visitation 1 hour prior. Coffee and cookies following.

Interment will be a private service with immediate family only, at Fort Snelling on a later date.
