Russell Settevig, age 90, of St Paul, MN passed away on September 30, 2025.

He is survived by wife, Sandra, children, Lisa, Kirsten (Michael), and Randall, grandson, Thomas (Lindsey), brother, David (Bette), many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

Russ grew up in East Grand Forks and East Bethel, MN. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and then went on to work at United States Postal Service. He had many duties there but he retired as a Human Resources Manager. After that he went on to work as a historical interpreter at the Oliver Kelly Farm in Elk River, MN. He plowed fields with oxen and taught schoolchildren how farming worked in the 1800s. He sang in the Bloomington Good Times Chorus and in the Wizards of Aw quartet. In his later years he enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife and his cat, Pippi.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 1PM at Cherokee Park United Church, 371 Baker St W, St Paul, MN.
