Donna Anne Field (1951 – 2025)

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Donna Field, who passed away on September 20, 2025, at her home in Woodbury, MN.

She was born on December 6, 1951, in Rochester, MN to Joseph and Helen Riddle.

Donna graduated from Lincoln High School in Lake City, MN and married her high school sweetheart, Troy O. Field, in 1971. They moved to Browerville, MN where they raised their two children and resided until June of 2025, when they moved to Woodbury to be closer to family.

She was an extremely loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her greatest joy was her family, including her siblings, children, her two grandchildren, and grand-puppy. Donna enjoyed spending time watching her children’s activities, participating in dinner club gatherings with dear friends, attending theater, and relaxing on the front porch with Troy on summer evenings, with a margarita in hand.

Donna was an active member at Zion Lutheran Church in Browerville for many years, and was employed with the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls for over 20 years.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Marsha (Jerry), Alice, and Jerri Frances, brother-in-law Joe, parents-in-law Orville and Florine, and sister-in-law Carol.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Troy, her son Brent (Rebecca), daughter Ramona (Brandon), grandchildren Jaelyn and Kyrie, sister Faye and brothers Sonny (Char) and Kevin, brother-in-law Tony, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her warm embrace will be felt always.

A family burial service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Lake City.
