Jeanette Marilyn Miller August 6, 1933 - September 21, 2025

Jeanette passed away peacefully with family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William P. Miller, her first husband Edward Peterson, her parents, and her sister Ruth Pirsig. She will be missed by children Janet (Mark) Dahlman, Michael Peterson, Emily Miller (Jack Kobinsky), and John (Cassie) Peterson. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Kristen Peterson (Roger Lopez), Claire Dahlman, Karla (Steve) Pakulski, Nathan (Kristen) Kobinsky, Leslie Kobinsky, and Patrick (Allison) Peterson, as well 6 great grandsons, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Jeanette was born in Bricelyn, MN to Marion (Jensen) and Glen Johnson. She grew up on her parents’ farm, walked to a one room school for grades 1-8 and graduated from Briceyn High School. She belonged to 4-H and competed in Faribault County Fairs. Upon her graduation from Fairview School of Nursing, she worked in several different departments, but enjoyed Labor and Delivery and Post Operative the most. She was a single working mom for 10 years following the accidental death of her first husband. After marrying Bill, her family doubled in size. She was a busy mom, entertainer of friends, hospital volunteer and tennis player.

Jeanette and Bill shared their Hayward WI cabin with family and friends skiing, hiking and fishing. They enjoyed traveling and spent 20 years of winters near Tucson AZ. In later years Jeanette had enjoyed quilting for Normandale Lutheran Church and participating in many activities while living at Friendship Village in Bloomington, MN.

The family thanks the entire staff of Friendship Village for their loving care.
