Larry Dybvik

May 20, 1940 – September 18, 2025

Larry Dybvik, 85, of Cloquet, MN passed away on September 18, 2025 with family by his side.

Born on May 20, 1940, Larry lived a life marked by adventure and a deep appreciation for the joys of living.

Larry served in the Air Force as a young man. After his service, he embarked on a successful career as a long haul truck driver, charter bus and commuter driver. Notably he achieved millions of safe driving miles and was an owner-operator before becoming a vital part of a local pizza business.

He was a man of many interests, including camping, golf, fishing, attending NASCAR and NHRA Drag Races and embarking on both local and cross-country motorcycle trips. These activities reflected his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors.

Larry was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Eleanore Dybvik; his sister, Shirley Ann Pease; and his infant daughter, Lynda Dybvik. He is survived by his children, Michael Dybvik (Emma and Family), Kevin Dybvik (Molly), Kim Dalbol (Paul and Family), Todd Dybvik (Sonja and Family), and Jamie Pantano (Ryan and Family), who will all cherish his memory as a generous and fun-loving father and grandfather. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no memorial service. Larry’s legacy will be remembered through the stories shared by those who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
