WESSMAN, Barbara Jean, age 86, of Maple Grove, passed away on September 24, 2025.  She enjoyed entertaining friends and family.  She retired and moved to their cabin on Smokey Hollow Lake in Outing, Minnesota.   In retirement, Barb found a talent for watercolor painting.   She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerome "Jerry"Wessman; parents Ivar and Edna Carlson; siblings, Marvin Carlson, Donald Carlson, Marion Haynes.   She will be deeply missed by her children, Sherri Wessman-Ferenc (John), Kevin Wessman (Julie), Keith Wessman (Darcy), Brentt Wessman; grandchildren, Derek Wessman (Ally), Dalton Wessman, Jazmine Falk (Andrew), Cade Wessman, Talan Wessman, Skylar Wessman, ; great grandchildren, Cohen Wessman, Lainey Wessman, David Falk; many other relatives and good friends.  Celebration of Life 11:00AM Friday, October 17th at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 7401 County Road 101, Maple Grove (763-420-5015) with visitation at church one hour before.  Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.  Funeral will be live streamed on day of service at Lordoflife.org
