It is with great sadness that the family of Dianne Liska announces her passing on September 5th, 2025, at the age of 83. After a brave battle with her health- both in body and mind, Dianne peacefully passed away in her sleep at New Perspective Assisted Living in Cloquet, MN.

Dianne was born on April 6th, 1942 in Superior, WI. She especially loved her family, family gatherings, playing games, and had a knack for writing poems and making up songs on the spot. Her personality was as bright as her smile! Playing and loving Yahtzee, she would always say, ‘I’m a lucky “4” all the while!” She was a member of the VFW Drum and Bugle Corps and for many years an avid bowler.

Dianne is survived by her twin brother, Dennis McGrew, Children: Debbie (Ron) Tyson, Michelle Hill, Dawn (Andy) Schnepper, Frank (Joanne) Schwirtz) and Tyrone (Jennifer) Tharge, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert McGrew and Delia (Hunker) Anderson , husband, Gary Liska, Step Son Donald Liska and Great Grandson Alexander Cain, her siblings, Emmett McGrew, James (Alice) McGrew, Mary (William) Quam, and Barbara (Vern) Holsclaw.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Located at: Vintage Italian Pizza, 1201 Tower Ave, Superior, WI 54880.
