Elaine Ann Pribble (Christopherson), age 93 of Burnsville, MN passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025. Preceded in death by father Charles J. Christopherson and mother Ethel O. Christopherson of Austin, MN, brother Dewey Christopherson, son James, and husband Fred (January 9 2025). Survived by son John (wife Mary) of Prior Lake, MN, and extended family members. 

She was born January 12, 1932 in, and raised in, Austin, MN. During her school years she took an interest in dance and ice skating. She met Fred her husband of 73 years while in high school. After high school Elaine attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. She then moved to Minneapolis to be with her future husband Fred while he studied at Hamline and Augsburg colleges. To help support Fred’s studies she became an administrative assistant at Honeywell. Elaine and Fred married in 1951. 

After Fred graduated from college and began his lifelong career with Honeywell they moved to Bloomington MN, purchased a small new home, and began a family. Elaine took a hiatus from work to tend to family matters. After 4 years they moved to a larger home to support a growing family in the then new community of Burnsville. In 4 more years they would move once again within Burnsville not far from their original Burnsville home to realize their dream home. Elaine re-joined Honeywell as an administrative assistant in the 1970s. Both Elaine and Fred retired in the later 1980s and enjoyed being together in their cherished Burnsville home until the final months of their lives. 

Elaine and Fred had a lifelong focus on staying together and there will be a brief combined memorial to them both on Saturday October 11, 11:00am central time at St. Michael Cemetery 5437 160th St SE, Prior Lake, MN, near the columbarium area.
