Michael Schultz, age 73, was born in Baraboo, Wisconsin, to Harold and Agnes Schultz. He grew up on the family farm in Wisconsin Dells, where he developed a strong work ethic, a love for sports, and lifelong bonds with family and friends.

Mike was an outstanding athlete at Wisconsin Dells High School (1970) and the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, where he earned numerous football honors. While at La Crosse, he met the love of his life, Judy Pease. The two were married after graduation and made their home first in Hartford, WI, and later in West Bend. Mike spent most of his career as production manager at Blower Application Corporation in Germantown, WI.

Family was always at the center of Mike’s life. He was a devoted husband and an involved dad, coaching youth soccer, cheering on his daughters, and sharing countless adventures with Judy. 

After retirement, Mike and Judy moved to Eagan, MN, to be closer to family. He enjoyed shop projects, house design, cheering for the Packers, taking road trips, and spending time with loved ones. His grandchildren adored him, especially playing games together. He even joined them in video games, quickly earning the title of “cool papa.”

Mike also found great joy in his Tuesday card club, where laughter and friendship were always guaranteed. He will be remembered for his unwavering positivity, boundless energy, and the way he made everyone feel loved.

Mike is survived by his wife, Judy; daughters Sarah Fazendin and Stephanie Kennelly (Kory); grandchildren Jossilyn, Luca, Jude, and Grant; sisters Ann Schultz and Jane Fazio (Mark); nephews Michael Fazio (Emily and Hazel) and Jonny Schultz (Hanniel); and many beloved cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Agnes Schultz, brother-in-law Doug Jurgilanis, and brother Robert Schultz (Joy).

He leaves behind a hole in our hearts but fills our memories with happiness and joy.

Per Mike’s request, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
