Carol Ann Cramer passed away at age 81 on September 5, 2025 at her home in White Bear Lake, MN. Born in Missouri on June 30, 1944 and raised in Indiana, Carol graduated from Purdue University, IN with a BA and, in 1969, earned her Master's Degree in English from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. She moved to White Bear Lake in 1972 and lived there for the rest of her life.

Carol was an adventurous person who enjoyed outdoor activities, square dancing, and navigating the entire Twin Cities to attend family events or meet someone for a meal. She was a researcher who loved to learn, and would frequently send her children articles. In recent years, she applied that curiosity to Bible study alongside others in a Bible Study Fellowship group.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and Jerry Fyte; sisters Linda Fyte and Sharon Fyte; and son-in-law Jack Riebel. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Clifford Tower; children, Tracey (Tim) Kelly of St. Francis; Amy (Nick) Klein of Coon Rapids; Ryan (Elizabeth Nunez-Cramer) Cramer of St Paul; and Kathryne Cramer of Minneapolis; stepchildren, Dawn (Daimon) Ozment of Forest Lake and Daniel Tower of North Branch; as well as many grandchildren, extended family and friends.
