Bradley Ronald Reiter Obituary

Bradley Ronald Reiter, lovingly known as “BR,” went home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2025, after a courageous two-month battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He fought with unwavering strength and faith, never giving up hope. He even said in the hospital the day “I’m wearing the right shirt today!”

He was born and raised in Bloomington, MN, and graduated from Jefferson High School, where he was active in both hockey and football. He went on to attend Normandale Community College for a short time before beginning his career. While working at IDS in Minnetonka, he met his former wife, Sara Larsen, the mother of his daughter Samantha. He later discovered his true passion in landscaping, where he not only excelled in his craft but also generously helped others, never asking for much in return.

BR’s greatest joy in life was his daughter who he would always call “baby” and his granddaughter. He lived for them, loving them more than anything in this world. His bond with his granddaughter Lennon was especially precious, he never missed a dance recital, holiday, or family celebration. His daughter will forever treasure their phone calls, his guidance, and the way he always ended conversations with “luv luv.”

A man of strong faith, BR became sober on August 3, 2021, a turning point that deepened his relationship with God and with his family. He loved reading the Bible, praying, and finding strength in his faith. Though many prayers were lifted for his healing, God called him home instead. A note was found in his Bible that he wrote, “The Holy Spirit tells me that the Lord is the only way to free me from the grip satan has on me through alcohol. God knows my struggle and is going to beat this addiction. He is showing me favor out of trust and love in Him.”

He was a loyal friend, most notably to his lifelong best friend Hermie, with whom he shared countless memories on the golf course. His final wish was for his ashes to be spread across Dahlgreen Golf Course, where he and Hermie spent so much of their time together.

BR was also an inventor, creating ideas connected to both golf and construction. He hoped his work would bless his daughter, though his daughter reminded him that she was already “wealthy” simply by having him as her dad.

He will be remembered for his positivity, his sharp wit, his love for crossword puzzles, politics, Fox News (which always made his daughter laugh), and his endless support of his family. He never complained, even through pain, and his strength was evident to all who knew him.

BR is survived by his daughter, Samantha Callahan, his granddaughter Lennon Jones, his sisters Shelley Cook and Cindy Reiter, his brother Brian Reiter, and many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy (Jude Jammer) and his father Ron.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His daughter will forever cherish the honor of being his “little girl” and will carry his love with her always.

“I love you, A-1 Dad. Luv luv.” - baby
