Jeffrey Ronald DeJarlais passed away on August 30th, 2025 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital at the age of 73 years old.  Jeff was born on September 28th, 1951 in Minneapolis, MN to Ronald DeJarlais and Donna (Lindholm) Horgen. Jeff worked many jobs in the construction industry and was a Building Official for the MN Department of Labor and Industry prior to retiring in 2018.  He was an active member of the Living Water Fellowship in Rush City, MN.  Jeff enjoyed many different adventures throughout his life which almost always included one or all of the following: family, friends, fishing and possibly some fireworks.  He was a busy body, working on projects around the house and always willing to help others with projects at their homes or wherever they needed help.  Jeff is survived by his wife Cindy DeJarlais of Pine City, Children, Adam (Laura) DeJarlais of Hopkins, MN, Rachel (Chad) Muller of St. Paul, MN, Jake (Patricia) Allen of Pine City, MN, Josh (Jessica) Allen of Braham,MN, Jordan Allen, Josiah (Ena) Allen of Rush City, MN, his brother and sisters and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025, 1:00pm at Living Water Fellowship, 915 West 8th Street,  Rush City MN, 55069
