Nephews, and many special dear friends in Minneapolis and Mesa, Arizona were all very
important to Dodo.
She was a supporter of social justice causes, politically active active in her community, church,
and unions. Author and editor of 2 newsletters, retired executive secretary of 26 years for
Minneapolis Public Schools, braille writer certified by the Library of Congress. She and Bill held the best season tickets for the Golden Gophers basketball team. Go Gophers!!
Son Billy, a cancer survivor for 15 years, decided they did not want a traditional funeral. They wanted to see their friends, talk with them and hear all the nice things people say after you’re gone.
They had a week long celebration of life while they were in it, all arranged by Billy and Cindy.
Dodo received many phone or personal visits from friends and rallies she loved all of her 90
years. She will be deeply missed. “Her children rise up and call her blessed” proverbs 13.
