After his retirement in 1994, he enjoyed many outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and especially canoeing the shores of Sullivan Lake where he and Judy built their little piece of heaven.  They traveled extensively enjoying meeting new people and experiencing new adventures together.

In later years he was blessed with 5 grandsons and thoroughly enjoyed watching them grow, attending their sporting events, and being present at their life’s milestones.

He was known throughout the neighborhood for his green thumb, and you usually could find him sitting outside in what called his “monastic garden.”  He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
