Michael Wayne Samuelson, age 48, of Cross lake, MN, passed away unexpectedly in his home on August 12, 2025. 

He was born on April 2, 1977 in Willingston, ND.  He was a computer and customer service specialist, his main jobs included; Circuit City, Best Buy and GrowthZone.  He always gave 100% to his jobs and he had great respect by coworkers.   He loved music, if it was playing his guitars or listening to vinyl records.  Mike enjoyed caring for house plants.  He was always a thoughtful and introspective person, intelligent, talented, had a big heart, supportive to others, kind, and a caring person.  

Mike is survived by: his father Wayne, step mother Michelle, step brothers; Rick, Andrew, Dillon and Cameron.  Mother Marian Vensland.  His children; Hayden, Riley and Cadence (Catie).  

Preceded in death by: sister Michelle and nephew Skyler. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 12; at New Hope Community Church located at 114 Dahlin Ave SE in Isanti, MN. Visitation 10:00, 11:00 service and on-site lunch to follow.  Interment will be at Menahga cemetery at a later date.  

**Road closure and detour alert at Cty Rd 5 and Cty Rd 65, at stop light.  If traveling north on 65 to Isanti, you will have to go beyond Cty 5 and turn around at the “J turn” about 1 mile north beyond the light, travel south on 65 and turn right at Caribou coffee onto Main St.
