Jeffrey Bernard Peterson (1958–2025) passed away on June 24, 2025. He was born January 12, 1958, in Crystal, MN to Bernard and Marlene (Lawrence) Peterson. Jeff settled in Blaine, MN for 37 years. He was employed with the former Naval Industrial Reserve Ordnance Plant (FMC) in Fridley, MN for 17 years. After leaving FMC, he started his own business, Peterson Trucking that he retired from in 2020. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and felt most at home in the outdoors. He was a devoted father and grandfather, who loved being surrounded by his family. Jeff had many friends, and he cherished all of them. His story telling of the adventures in his life will always be remembered by those who knew him.

In 2024 with partner Devra, Jeff was able to pursue the dream of moving to his eighty acre hunting property in Wright, MN that he enjoyed so much.

Jeff is survived by his mother Marlene, brother Ralf Peterson, sister Donna Hancock, daughter Alie (Billy) Welch, grandson William Welch, daughter Lexi Peterson, niece Koriah Peterson, partner Devra Bowie, her daughters Desiree Bowie, Danielle (Jesse) Telschow, and grandson Justin Telschow.

He was preceded in death by his father Bernard and brother Cliff Peterson.

A celebration of life will be held in Mora, MN, July 27th at the Grand Event Center from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
