Simmons, Elbert Thomas 

Age 80, passed away on June 20 in Maplewood, MN. He retired after 30 years as an investigator for MN Ombudsman for Corrections. He was an avid photographer. Survived by his wife Carol Berentson-Simmons; and sisters Michelle Gatling and Kimberley Simmons, both of New Jersey. He adopted a huge family and became father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He also leaves loving nieces and nephews back home. Celebration of Life: July 12, 1-3:30PM, American Legion North St Paul.
