Married to James John Abramowski in Duluth, MN on October 16, 1993

Connie was a part of the first class to graduate from Silver Bay High School then she met Ralph Merrill they had 3 children.

She enjoyed her career as a Purchasing Agent of which she retired in January 2000

The joy of her life and mate Jim were inseparable from the first date. Together they traveled, gained lifelong friendships, lived, and thrived! Connie was the bright light in any room, her smile was infectious, and those hugs were undeniably warm and sincere. She was quick with a joke in time of uncertainly, was a wealth of advice and she lived life. She loved to laugh and be at family gatherings, her children and grands/greats would never have to guess if she would be there. She was the family vacation planner, you said you were coming she went to work right away to plan the entire get away right down to her amazing salads, soups, local history tour or a family friendly poker game. She was happy moving back to Duluth, she quickly formed new friends and found a new excitement in a weekly card game with the gals. Avid sports fan, diehard Vikings fan SKOL!!

She is survived by her Children: Bob Merrill, Diane (Mike) Murray, Cyndi (Tim) Rush, John (Colleen) Abramowski, Val (Ken) Wojtysiak, Lynn (Kevin) Nemec, Sister: Sue (Ralph) Vossmer, Brothers: General Ronald (Joyce) Hein, Phil (Barb) Hein Sisters-In-law: Jan Hein, Edna Blanchard, Wanda Abramowski, She enjoyed all of her 16 Grandchildren 13 Great Grandchildren

Service will be on Saturday June 28, 2025

Forbes United Methodist Church at 33 Grove St., Duluth, MN

Visitation (1:00pm – 2:00pm) Celebration of Life service at 2:00pm
