Melba (Darlene) Heinz passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on June 19, 2025. She was surrounded by those who loved her.

Darlene led a rich life. After successfully raising 8 children, she went on to have a career she loved as a court reporter for Hennepin County. After retirement, she then when on to volunteer as a Guardian Ad Litem.

She spent her free time traveling with friends and family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Darlene was a giver until the end. She always put everyone else before herself. She is missed immensely but will always be with us in our hearts.

Per her request, there will be no memorial service and her ashes will be spread in several places that she requested.
