Sean Warren Obituary

Sean Warren, 72, of Fridley, MN, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at North Memorial Hospital with his family members by his side.

Sean was born November 5, 1952, in Minneapolis, MN, to Barton and Ellen Warren. He lived in New Hope and attended Cooper High School. Sean worked as an Applications Engineer in the manufacturing industry, which he really enjoyed. As an older adult, he attended Bethel University to complete his four-year degree, then went on to St. Cloud State University, where he received his MBA, and later pursued a PhD in Organizational Leadership. Sean taught business courses at St. Mary’s University. He served as a longtime volunteer mediator for Mediation Services of Anoka in family and conciliation court.

When Sean wasn’t working, he could be found out in the yard or garage, making or fixing things—something he truly enjoyed.  His family knew him as kind, loyal, and loving. Sean’s generosity was his gift. He loved to buy gifts for his great-nieces and nephews and then play right alongside them! He was generous with his time, helping anyone who needed it.

In his retirement years, he worked at Home Depot in the plumbing and electrical departments, where he enjoyed helping customers who came in without knowing what they needed. His wife would tell him that he is providing valuable community service each day. Sean liked that perspective.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Tuccitto); his son, Anthony; and his brothers, Barton Jr., Mark, Dan, and Tom. He was preceded in death by his father, Barton; his mother, Ellen; and his sister, Mary Susan.

Sean will be especially remembered for his brilliance, wit, and kindness.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Crystal VFW #494, 5222 Bass Lake Rd, Crystal, MN 55429. Light lunch provided.
