Patty Houser, age 76, of Zimmerman, MN, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025 surrounded by her family.  Born in October 1948 in Duluth, MN, to Lois and Robert Stephany. Patty lived a life full of love and devotion to her family.

Patty was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Seidenstricker (Roy), and her father, Robert Stephany (Jenette). She is also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Houser.

She is survived by her beloved son, Bob Stephany (Connie), her three grandchildren, Hannah Swirtz (Ethan), Bobby, and Zoey Stephany, and her two great-grandchildren, Eleanor and Kaius Swirtz.

Patty graduated from high school in 1966 and pursued a career as a respiratory nurse before transitioning to a role at the telephone company (Northwestern Bell, later Qwest), where she worked as a customer service representative and administrative assistant. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her professional life, as she lovingly cared for nieces, nephews, her son, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

A fierce lover of family, Patty cherished hosting gatherings for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and other holidays. Her talent for throwing unforgettable parties was a tradition she passed on to her son, Bob. Patty shared nearly five decades with her partner, Larry, her inseparable companion. Together, they built a life filled with shared moments and unwavering support. After Larry’s passing, Patty felt his absence deeply, but now they are reunited in heaven.

Patty’s warmth and love touched everyone she met. She will be forever missed by her family and friends. Grandma, Mom, Auntie, Patty— We love you to the moon and back.
