Obituary of Shannon Morrissey

Shannon Morrissey passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, far too early at age 47.

She is survived by her partner, Justin Ohmann, her mother, Carol Ann Morrissey, Father, Patrick K Morrissey, sisters, Dana Keller (Tom), Tracey Wacker (Bob), and brother, Anthony Morrissey.

Shannon lived a life centered on forming and maintaining friendships, being a movie and theater critic, and rescuing greyhounds. Greyhounds were always around, and she loved every single one of them. She loved traveling with Justin and being out in nature. She had a keen wit, a nearly photographic memory, and a generous nature. Plagued by sickness and in constant pain, she still managed to bring joy and light into the loves of those who knew and loved her.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
