Catherine (Cathy) A. Carlson passed away peacefully on 1 June 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Cathy was born to Betty and Marvin Waller in Minneapolis, MN. Cathy was the oldest of nine siblings. Cathy had a passion for playing cards, bingo and loved going to casinos. Most of all, she always wanted to be with her family; participating in family gatherings and holidays. Cathy is preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Betty Waller of Columbia Heights, MN and son Richard (Rick) Carlson of Minneapolis, MN. Cathy is survived by her siblings Diane Blaisdell of Hudson, WI; Allan Waller of Zimmerman, MN; Michael Waller of Le Center, MN; Susan (Paul) Wise of Mondovi, WI; Cheryl (Michael) Walsh of Olathe, KS; Wayne (Viki) Waller of Elk River, MN; Daniel Waller of St. Cloud, MN, and Kimberly (Richard) Wise of Eau Claire, WI. Cathy is also survived by her grandchildren Richard (Ricky) Carlson JR of Minneapolis, MN; Prestion Cameron of Zimmerman, MN; Jessie Cameron of Zimmerman, MN; Cinnamon Carlson of Minneapolis, MN; Noah Carlson of Minneapolis, MN; Alyssa Roberts of Forest Lake, MN; Devrie Ullman of Minneapolis, MN; and Shane Duehn of Minneapolis, MN; along with numerous Great Grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Graveside services for Cathy will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN on June 20th at 1045. A Celebration of Life will follow for family and friends.
