Obituary of Thomas Joseph Frantzen
Thomas J "Tom" Frantzen, age 62 passed away on June 5, 2025. Tom was a soft, caring, compassionate person. He cared about people and was always talking kindly to others and offering his support.
Tom loved animals, children, nature, and flowers. He always enjoyed going for walks, watching children play, and admiring people's flowers. Tom enjoyed sitting in the yard watching the squirrels, chipmunks, birds, and insects.
During his high school years at Duluth Central he excelled in Debate and was asked to join debate at Macalester College in St. Paul. After high school graduation, Tom moved to St. Paul for Macalester College and to spend his adult years until dementia struck.
After graduating from Macalester, Tom worked for Mayor Latimer. He also worked for the United Way and the Boyscouts. He did some traveling as a speaker for Fred Pryor. Then Tom became an entrepreneur. He spent many years owning a sports cards and memorbilia store going to sports cards shows, and making many good friends.
Tom was loved and will be dearly misssed.
Tom is preceded in death by his mother Judy, and his uncle "Skip". He is survived by his sister Kim, brother Mark (Traci), aunts, an uncle, nieces, and other family and friends.

Services to be held on June, 28th 2025 at 3:00p.m. with a visitation at 2:00p.m. at the Cremation Society of MN, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth MN 55807. Refreshments following.
