Obituary of Nancy Elizabeth Mehling

Nancy Elizabeth Mehling longtime Duluth resident passed away peacefully on June 5th 2025 at her home. 

She was born July 12, 1951. The daughter of Robert W Mehling and Luverne (Ellefson) Mehling in Duluth, MN. 

Nancy retired after many years of service at UDAC. She enjoyed cooking classes, playing miniature golf, and loved to watch golf on TV. She was also a member of the Alley Cats bowling team. 

Some of Nancy's greatest joy came from outings with her Kiminki family, getting her that special cup of coffee, visiting her brother every week and playing the "dice" game at Christmas. 

Nancy is preceeded in death by her parents, and special Aunt Helen, who took care of her for many years. 

Nancy is survived by her brother Bob, sister in law Liz, niece Lisa Mehling, nephew Dave Mehling (Melissa), and great nieces Cecilia and Cora. As well as, her wonderful friends at Kiminki Homes.

The family would like to extend thier heartfelt thanks to Cheri Kiminki and all the excellent staff who loved and nurtured Nancy. 

In addition, the family would also like to thank the Essentia Health Hospice team for thier dedicated support of Nancy during her illness.
