Walker (Jacobus), Dian A., age 82, of Maple Grove, went home to meet her Maker on June 3, 2025 after a four year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a retired Head Cook of 30 years for Osseo School District. Dian enjoyed gardening, baking, shopping, puzzles, reading, cross-words, playing bingo and card games, watching HGTV and the  Hallmark channnel.  She loved decorating her home and yard for the seasonal holidays.  Dian was  a devoted member of Advent Lutheran and loved Jesus.  Sunday dinners and gatherings with family and friends were some of her favorite times.  She was truly one of a kind and spoke her mind.  Her food had to be hot - her toast had to be well done and dry - and if you didn't have hard butter, she'd bring her own.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lillian Jacobus;  2 brothers and 3 sisters.  She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 63 years, Gary; children, Randy, Jodi Stanek (Greg), Todd, Amy Edwards (Tim Bahr); grandchildren, Andrew (Monique), Amanda (Jared), Ethan, Abby, Eli, Lauryn; great granddaughter, Kaydence;  many relatives and good friends. 

Celebration of Life 11am Friday, June 13 at Advent Lutheran Church, 9745 Jefferson Hwy, Maple Grove (763-425-4342) with visitation at church 1 hour before service.  In lieu of flowers - family will accept donations for St. Jude Children's Hospital and/or C.R.O.S.S per Dian's request.
